A truly great motorcycle experience isn’t created by a route, a few motorcycles and a couple of nice hotels along the way. It’s the details, the experience and the meticulous preparation that make the real difference. And that is a big part of why riders choose Ride Nordic. It’s what turns a trip from “yeah, that was good” into “that was one of the best things I’ve ever done.”
We’ve been creating professional motorcycle experiences for more than 20 years. Along the way, we’ve met thousands of riders – from rider training and Adventure Days to motorcycle adventures around the world. And if there’s one thing we’ve learned, it’s that the best experiences rarely happen by accident. Behind what feels effortless and natural to our guests are often months of planning, scouting and preparation. And hundreds of small decisions along the way.
As an Official Partner of BMW Motorrad, we combine that experience with professionally trained tour guides and instructors, the latest BMW GS models and an organisation where safety, quality and personal service are always at the heart of what we do.
And perhaps that’s where something truly special happens. When you challenge yourself and do something that at first feels difficult – maybe even a little intimidating. When all the training and preparation finally pays off, and suddenly you find yourself doing something you once didn’t even dare to dream of.
Those are the moments that stay with you. The feeling of having grown, achieved something new and shared it with others. For many of our guests, the experiences with Ride Nordic eventually become something much bigger than a few days on a motorcycle – something to look forward to, train and prepare for, and keep living on long after it’s over.
Ride Nordic is BMW Motorrad’s only official partner in Scandinavia. The partnership is an important part of who we are and is built on a close, long-term relationship.
For us, it goes far beyond motorcycles and a logo. The partnership includes training and professional development for our tour guides and instructors, as well as technical support. We also work closely with BMW Motorrad around the motorcycles we use in our operations.
Through the partnership, we combine our many years of experience in motorcycle adventures and rider training with the knowledge, technology and resources of BMW Motorrad. It helps us continuously develop what we do and create even better experiences for our guests.

Experience can’t be rushed. We have been creating professional motorcycle experiences since 2005. Until 2021, we operated under the name Touratech Experience, before changing our name to Ride Nordic. Our cooperation with BMW Motorrad began in 2009. In 2012, we became an official BMW Motorrad Partner – a partnership that has continued ever since.
Over the years, we have organised everything from Adventure Days and rider training to motorcycle adventures around the world. In total, more than 10,000 participants have joined our motorcycle experiences – and every group, training course and adventure has taught us something new. That is still true today.
Perhaps that is the most important part of our more than 20 years in the business. We have learned what works, what can go wrong and which small details make the biggest difference. Experience that is now part of everything we do.
Great motorcycles and careful preparation are important, but ultimately, it is the people who make the difference. That is why training and continuous development of our tour guides and instructors have always been an important part of Ride Nordic.
Since 2013, we have held BMW Motorrad-certified qualifications through the International Tourguide Academy (ITA) and International Instructor Academy (IIA). The training covers far more than riding skills. It includes leadership, teaching, safety, group management and the ability to handle unexpected situations along the way.
Since 2025, we have also been certified as a BMW Motorrad International Expedition Leader. This advanced training focuses on planning and leading more demanding off-road tours and expeditions. It includes leadership, navigation, advanced first aid and managing challenging and unexpected situations.
For us, certification is not the end goal, but a foundation to build on. Real expertise develops through experience – thousands of hours spent with riders on training grounds, roads and adventures around the world.

A great tour guide needs to know far more than simply which way to go, and a great instructor needs more than excellent riding skills. For us, it is just as much about understanding people, creating confidence and adapting to different levels of experience. It is also about knowing when to challenge someone – and when it is better to find an alternative way forward.
That is why we hand-pick the people in our team based on experience, expertise and personality. We come from different backgrounds and bring different strengths, but we share the same idea of what a truly great motorcycle experience should feel like.
On our adventure tours, we normally have several tour guides riding with the group. This allows us to split into groups based on experience, pace and preferences, giving each rider a more personal experience. The same philosophy applies to our rider training – seeing the individual rider, adapting the training and providing personal feedback.
The motorcycles, the roads and all the preparation create the conditions. But it is the people who bring everything together.

For us, safety is first and foremost about staying one step ahead and leaving room for the unexpected. That means choosing the right route and the right level for the group, while keeping an eye on weather and conditions. It also means recognising when fatigue begins to affect the riding and being ready to change the plan when circumstances change.
But we also prepare for the things we hope will never happen. Our tour guides and instructors receive regular training in first aid and emergency response, and we adapt both our equipment and level of preparedness to where we are and the type of riding we are doing.
On our more remote adventures, we take this even further with support vehicles, satellite communication and additional medical equipment.
Your booking is protected too. For our package tours, we have arranged a travel guarantee with the Swedish Legal, Financial and Administrative Services Agency (Kammarkollegiet), providing financial protection in the event that we become insolvent.
The best safety measure is the one that prevents a problem from happening in the first place. But if something does happen, we want to be as well prepared as possible.
The motorcycle is a big part of the experience. That’s why we ride the latest BMW GS models, fully equipped from the factory and further adapted and prepared for the way we use them.
But the right motorcycle is only the beginning. Tyres are selected to suit the type of riding, while suspension and seat options are adapted to each rider wherever possible. Behind the scenes, we also have technical support, spare motorcycles, spare parts and equipment ready to solve problems when they arise.
We leave as little as possible to chance – so you can focus even more on the riding.

No two groups and no two riders are the same. Experience, pace, ambitions and how you feel on the day all vary. That’s why we don’t believe everyone should always have to follow the same route at the same pace.
On our adventure tours, this might mean splitting the group, adapting the pace and route, or changing the day’s plan according to the weather, conditions and riders. In our rider training, it means seeing each individual rider and adapting the exercises, challenges and feedback accordingly.
Behind every main plan, there are alternatives: Plan B, C and, when needed, even D. We prepare alternative routes and different solutions so we can adapt when conditions change – rather than start planning only after something has already happened.
We don’t just plan for how it should be. We also plan for how it could be.
