We always have around 20 Swedish-registered BMW GS of the latest models on site during our tours. Our motorcycles are equipped with all the options from the factory so you have the opportunity to test all functions during the tour. If you are looking to buy a new GS there is no better test ride! Some models are also available with lowered suspension and low seats.
Fuel, support and back-up motorcycles are also included. Our motorcycles are well protected with crash bars, engine guards, radiator and headlight protectors etc. Smaller scratches (when you drop your motorcycle, for example) are usually included in the cost of the tour. If you cause a damage that requires us to change parts, you pay for the damaged parts. If you cause bigger damage to the bike the excess is SEK 30 000. If you choose to add excess elimination (cost for this is stated in the booking) you lower the maximum excess from SEK 30 000 to SEK 0.
The new BMW R 1300 GS once again sets the bar in the adventure world! Lighter, more powerful and more flexible than ever. Boxer engine with a whopping 145 hp, 149 Nm and 1300 cc. Despite its performance, this is one of the easiest motorcycles on the market to ride!
The technical assistance systems and riding modes that adapt the motorcycle to the surface make this bike extremely versatile and suitable for all levels of rider. From beginner to expert.
We have models in standard height, with sports suspension (+20mm) and with automatic chassis lowering (-30mm at low speed). In addition to this, we have both high and low saddles available so saddle height can be varied from a low 800mm to a high 890mm.
Despite its size, this is by far one of the easiest models on the market and our recommendation if you are a beginner.
All participants must wear full riding gear while riding. This includes an integral or motocross helmet (flip-up helmets must be closed during all riding), a back protector, shoulder protectors, elbow protectors, knee protectors, gloves (thin motcross oar adventure gloves are recommended for the best feeling and control) and motocross or adventure boots. Touring boots are not recommended since they will not protect your foot well enough if the motorcycle falls on it.
We strongly recommend that you bring an hydration system since it will be hot during the days!
