2 years after the tragic fire that forced us to cancel Adventure Days in Säfsen 2023/24, we are finally back. And not only that, we have also chosen to move the event to a new location with new and exciting roads!
Adventure Days 2025 will be arranged in Sunne, Värmland! One of the best areas in Scandinavia for those who love gravel riding!
At Adventure Days you ride your own motorcycle, and regardless what make or model* you ride you are just as welcome!
The dates are September 11-14 and our base camp is the magnificent Selma SPA. In addition to a fantastic location with the views of Frykendalen, Selma SPA offers an absolutely top-class restaurant and one of the country’s most liked SPA facilities.
Those of you who have ridden with us before know that there is nothing we give higher priority than really good roads and a fantastic riding experience. But after an intense day on the motorcycle, we also appreciate a nice hotel, a good dinner and why not an hour of relaxation in a SPA!?
* The event is open to all adventure & offroad motorcycles – with the exception of enduro bikes made for the track (KTM EXC, Yamaha WR, Honda CR, etc.)

When you book Adventure Days, you specify whether you wish to ride Relaxed gravel tours or Active gravel tours. On top of this all tours have options that are easier/more difficult and shorter/longer.
You will get access to the tours before the event in form of tracks (.gpx) that you download to your own Garmin/BMW Motorrad navigator or navigation app. You then ride the tours together with at least one riding buddy. More information about the setup, start times and how to get in touch with riding buddies if you don’t have one will be provided closer to the event. We will also have GPS / navigation support on site to assist you with tracks and navigation devices.
Suitable for those who are new to gravel, want a slightly smoother increase in difficulty or simply just want to take it a a bit easy. We ride back country roads, some old Swedish Rally special stages and also more exciting alternatives on these tours, but more during the latter part of the event when we got some riding time and are warmed up. These tours can be ridden with street tires, but gravel tires are always recommended. If you are used to riding with a passenger on gravel, it will also works on these tours.
Suitable for those who have experience of grabel riding. Here, it is a bit more technical gravel roads and possibly some mud, ruts and rocks. We ride back country roads, some old Swedish Rally special stages, the occasional river crossing, forest roads and similar – in short, as exciting as it gets but still legal roads. Gravel tires are a requirement and on these tours we ride without passengers.
If you choose to ride with one of our professional tour guides from Ride Nordic / BMW Motorrad, your tour guide will be available for you the entire event. From when you meet up on the first evening to where and when you start each day, where and when you eat lunch & dinner, etc.
During the tours, we stop at a few times and talk about things like rider position, line of vision, corenering etc. Your tour guide will also give you valuable feedback along the rides, so you become an even better and safer rider. The tour guide will adjust the route to suit you and your group perfectly.
With a tour guide, we ride in smaller groups of approx. 6-12 participants. Your tour guide will also coordinate so you ride the GS-Experience together.
During the gravel tours we will also pass some Daily Riding Challenges where you have the opportunity to test yourself and your motorcycle a little extra! It could be, for example, a motocross track we have booked, a ski slope where we have built a track or similar. There are no competitive elements in this, just a fun bonus for those who want to try their limits in a controlled environment.
At Adventure Days you have a unique opportunity to get to know BMW’s latest GS models and to test ride them in a way that you’ve never done before! The GS Experience starts with a theoretical part where BMW Motorrad’s technicians explain new functions & technical systems. Then Ride Nordic & BMW Motorrad take you on a test ride on roads of varying quality, through water & mud and over logs & rocks so you can really get a feel for the GS motorcycles!
This activity takes about 2 hours and is included in the event. If you want to do the GS Experience (optional in the booking), we will let you know your day and time.
Selma Spa n Sunne, Värmland, offers us delicious food and fantastic accommodation in beautiful surroundings. With the lush nature and the sparkling waters of lake Fryken our hotel offer both SPA, restaurant & bar in an environment like made for relaxing after an exciting day on the motorcycle. When book you have the following choices when it comes to accommodation:
Note 1 – Beds in twin rooms are separated, if you want beds togeher just let the reception know.
Note 2 – If you wish to share a room with a specific friend or partner, you can state this in the booking.
Throughout Adventure Days you will eat delicious food at Selma Spa’s restaurant. Breakfast buffet is included Friday, Saturday & Sunday morning. Lunch is included Friday and Saturday. Delicious 3-course dinners are included Thursday, Friday & Saturday evenings. Each riding day you also get a snack package and coffee that you pick-up before you set off on your ride!
Ride Nordic & BMW Motorrad have both rescue & recovery team and technicians on site if something happens to your motorcycle. Should you break down on the road, we will come and pick you and your bike up! If it is a problem that can be fixed on site, we will do everything we can to get your motorcycle up and running again.
If you run a flat during the event, we will help you to repair your tire if possible. We also have a limited selection of tires in the most common dimensions for sale if it is not possible to repair. However, fresh tires when the event starts are always recommended, both for safety, traction and reduced risk of punctures.

You don’t need any gravel/offroad experience! We have tours in all levels of difficulty and Adventure Days is suitable for everyone, from beginners to advanced riders. Below are some statistics:

If you have very little or no experience, we recommend you ride with one of our professional tour guides. They will give you a lot of tips and tricks to be a safer rider and enjoy the event fully!
Absolutely not! About 40% of the participants at Adventure Days ride BMWs, the rest ride KTM, Honda, Triumph, Yamaha, Ducati, Suzuki, Kawasaki, etc.
Adventure Days is open to all motorcycles, regardless of make and model, with the exception of light eburo bikes made for the track (such as KTM EXC, Yamaha WR, Honda CR, Husaberg TE and similar).
However, the most suitable bikes for the gravel toura are BMW GS, KTM Adventure, Yamaha Ténéré, Triumph Tiger, Honda Africa Twin, Ducati Multistrada and similar. It is for these types of motorcycles that the gravel tours are made.
Absolutely! About half of the participants at Adventure Days book and come on their own. So even if you don’t have anyone to ride with or if your friends can’t go, you’re just as welcome. And you’ll make lots of new riding buddies here!
Offroad/gravel tires are always recommended. By gravel tires we mean Metzeler Karoo 4, Continental TKC 80, Michelin Anakee Wild, Pirelli Scorpion Rally and similar. The relaxed tours can be ridden on street tires, but if it rains it can get a bit slippery…
